Northants Young Farmers’ Training Budget

Our budget towards training costs is still available for Northants YFC members aged 10 – 30, with the aim of encouraging those at the beginning of their careers or still in education to apply for a grant to be used to access training opportunities to improve their skills base.

Each application will be considered on its merits by the Finance Committee, whose decision will be final. The aim is to make a decision within one month of receipt of the application.

Successful applicants will be required to write a short report detailing their training and the benefit they’ve gained from it. This will be used to promote the training budget to other applicants.

NFYFC The Curve

The Curve has been designed especially for YFCs to help you get the very best out of your club and its members.

A series of fun, interactive workshops explore everything from organising the best money spinners to strengthening relationships in your clubs. Each is around 1.5 hours long, but is designed to be flexible to suit your own club.  Chooose from a range of sessions (ideal to fit into a club meeting) that include Future Farming, Rural+, Great Communicators, Dream Teams, Beat Bullying, Farm Safety, Know your Limits and Event Budgeting.
